Spirulina

One of the most nutritious foods on the planet for your children is Spirulina. This SuperFood can be a healthy part of your child's diet everyday. You don't ever have to worry about giving your kids too much Spirulina. Most children love it and there are fun ways to get this food into their diet. You can make delicious fruit smoothies with their favorite fruits, juice, and ice. Children also like to sprinkle the powder on their food when you put it in a pepper shaker.

Spirulina not only provides important vitamins and minerals, but it can also boost your child's natural immunity to help them resist the coughs and colds that seem to spread so easily between kids. It is an excellent source of easily digestible protein. Spirulina also contains GLA (gamma linolenic acid), which is important for growth, development and immunity. Next to mother's milk, Spirulina is the highest food source of this important fatty acid. Spirulina is also a very nourishing food to consume during pregnancy.


For babies: Once your baby begins eating solid food, they can begin taking Spirulina. You can sprinkle Spirulina powder into your baby's food or formula. Yes, it will turn green but don't let that stop you. Green foods are excellent for children. About ј teaspoon of Spirulina powder or 1 Spirulina Nanocluster capsule in a jar of food or a bottle of formula is ideal.

Every child needs a source of DHA in his or her diet for optimum brain development. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that can help improve your child's ability to learn and retain information, and it can aid in their emotional well-being. For babies and young children, simply puncture a gel cap and pour the oil into liquid or soft food. This is particularly important for formula fed babies, as the U.S. does not fortify infant formula with this important nutrient. Older kids can swallow one to two capsules a day. Research has shown that when children supplement with DHA, there are noted improvements in their cognitive function and behavior.

FirstFood
Colostrum contains immune supportive nutrients and growth factors that are important for babies and children. Kids of all ages can take one capsule a day in juice or soft food. This product is especially important during the cold and flu season.

For babies: One-half capsule sprinkled into formula each day. Breast fed babies generally do not need Colostrum, but one-half capsule can be added to juice during a time when immunity needs a boost.
